Canada Voted 2008

Isn't this disappointing? Our worst Prime Minister of all time (officially through political analyst and political studies) got re-elected.

I don't want to get too political. It's my Blog after all and it's not meant to be. I'm just extremely disappointed of going through another term with the worst PM we've ever had. The one that had the weakest campaign platform and that will destroy the tax payers, the population of this great country, by giving our tax money to polluters.

We've gone through $300,000,000 of our money for absolutely nothing. YES, this election cost us $300,000,000 of our tax money, and for what? For nothing really. Harper is still a minority goverment, the Bloc Québécois still has more than half of the chairs in Québec, Yvon Godin is still representing Acadie-Bathurst...

Danny Williams had the right idea. He wanted to get rid of all the Conservative chairs in Newfoundland/Labrador... AND HE DID!!! Quite easily too if you looked at all that was done. He kept his word by not giving up and not get intimidated by the threats from Harper himself (and a death threat from Harper's communication agent. Google it)

How could this happen? There's one answer. Only 58% of registered voters actually voted. This is the lowest of all-time. There are over 35 regions where the conservative should've lost, where they didn't have a chance, when only 10% of registered voters of that region actually vote, what's the point of having an election?

There's 42% of you now that cannot, for four years, complain about the government or Canadian politics what-so-ever. Voting is a privilege. We're lucky to live in a democratic country. If you don't vote, you can't complain about the crappy politics.
